SOP: Check Azure Tenant Details and Region Details in Azure Portal

1. Purpose

To provide step-by-step instructions for identifying Azure tenant details and Azure tenant/resource region information using the Microsoft Azure Portal.

2. Prerequisites

• Valid Azure account

• Minimum Reader role access on the tenant

• Access to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com )

3. Procedure

A. Check Azure Tenant Details (Including Tenant Location)

1. Sign in to the Azure Portal.

2. From the left-hand navigation menu, select Microsoft Entra ID.

3. On the Overview page, capture the following details:

   • Tenant name

   • Tenant ID (Directory ID)

   • Primary domain

4. Navigate to Properties.

5. Note the Tenant location (Country/Region).

Output: Tenant Name, Tenant ID, Primary Domain, Tenant Location
