In the Server Discovery and Assessment (Azure Migrate) Service module Software One will work with the Customer to deploy Microsoft’s Azure Migrate Server Discovery Tool in an on-premises data center for automated collection of basic server information such as, but not limited to host name, IP addresses, operating system, provisioned/consumed CPU, RAM, Storage, etc. SoftwareONE will also capture the parameters of the assessment from the Customer.
SoftwareONE will then provide a Server Discovery and Assessment report which contains details of all servers in the data center that have been detected by the discovery tooling and their respective inventory and usage costs for both on-premises and cloud. A one (1)/three(3)/five(5) year estimated “Total Cost of Ownership” will also be provided by SoftwareONE based on the default assumptions and data collected by the Azure Total Cost of Ownership calculator.
The report will also contain examples of Application Stack designs which can be considered by the Customer in the next phase Application Discovery and Assessment.
