Complete the File Server Guided Setup Using Cloud Storage

Procedure

1. Login to URL login.metallic.io using your credentials.

2. In the upper-left area of the page, click the menu button , and then click File & Object.

   The File & Object tab appears.

3. In the upper-right corner of the page, from the New Configuration list, select File Server.

   The How do you want to deploy your backup page appears.

4. Select Backup direct to cloud (for cloud servers), and then click Next.

5. To select the operating system type of the file server, click the appropriate operating system.

6. To download and install the backup client software on the server that you want to back up, click Download.

7. Once the file is downloaded, please install it on the server that needs backup.
