Reseller Relationship explained

When you purchase Microsoft license subscriptions from SoftwareOne through a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Agreement, SoftwareOne must first have a reselling relationship established with you. In order for SoftwareOne to provision and manage license subscriptions or pass technical incidents on your behalf to Microsoft, you must accept the Reseller Relationship. This must be accepted by a Global Administrator of your Microsoft tenant.

SoftwareOne adds a customer record to the appropriate Microsoft Partner Center. If there is a reseller link already established then no further action is required.

Accepting the reseller relationship on your cloud tenant is crucial for several reasons:

Access to Services: It allows SoftwareOne to provision and manage Microsoft cloud services on your behalf, ensuring you have access to the necessary tools and resources.

Simplified Management: SoftwareOne can handle administrative tasks, such as billing and subscription management, making it easier for you to focus on your core business activities.

Enhanced Support: You gain access to the SoftwareOne’s 24x7 support services, which can include technical assistance, troubleshooting, and personalized guidance. This includes the ability for SoftwareOne to escalate technical issues to Microsoft.

Please note that without a Reseller Relationship, SoftwareOne will be unable to pass any technical incidents to Microsoft on your behalf.
