Enhanced Logging

The Enhanced Logging service expands upon foundational logging by encompassing various log types and storage locations. The service includes logs segregated by region in a central Log Archive account. Logs are initially collected in the origin account and then transferred to the central account, without manipulation. This includes centralised storage of logs for governed regions, each with a retention policy, as well as account-level storage with a retention policy. Automation is implemented for logs transfer, featuring dynamic partitioning to facilitate easier search and consumption. Customer has the flexibility to select the preferred log types. This service enhances logging capabilities, ensuring comprehensive coverage across regions while adhering to storage and retention policies, and automates the transfer process to streamline log management.
